The company has completed projects in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, California, and Oregon. It currently has five registered architects and is conveniently located in Helena, Montana’s capital city. Most projects range in size from less then a million dollars up to 20 million dollars. The firm also has a LEED accredited professional and has completed a straw bale commercial building, utilizing alternative energy sources.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
CWG P.C. ARCHITECTS currently has positions available for an Architectural Technician and an Architect-In-Training.
Architectural Technician Description:
A self motivated individual with experience in building materials, building systems, research and development of construction documents and specifications. This position will require relationship skills being able to work both within a team environment and individually. This position will focus on and require developed skills in REVIT (BIM), and AutoCAD.
The firm also integrates other software programs that include: MICROSOFT OFFICE: WORD, EXCEL, PUBLISHER, POWERPOINT, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, SPECLINK, and SKETCHUP.
This is a full time position. In addition to a completive salary, a benefit package includes eligibility for vacation time, sick time, paid holidays, health insurance, SEP/IRA retirement program and potential for an annual profit sharing bonus. Salary will depend on level of experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:
Minimum of 5 years of documented experience in an architectural or engineering firm.
To help maintain office CAD standards and systems.
Experience in architectural detailing and drafting.
An architectural license/registration is not mandatory.
Personal skills to assist senior architect and team in project development.
Not required but preferred understanding of “light” IT duties in software upgrades, computer network maintenance, and system troubleshooting.
Architect-In-Training (Intern) Description:
A talented and highly motivated architectural graduate. This individual must display design, graphic and construction documentation skills. This position will prepare an individual in many aspects of operating and maintaining an architectural firm, fulfilling IDP requirements. This also considers relationship skills, including working with clients, senior architects, design teams and marketing personnel. The intern will focus on the development of a basic understanding of architectural design, code requirements, construction documentation, building materials and systems research.
A fundamental understanding of REVIT (BIM) and AutoCAD is required. The firm also integrates other software programs that include: MICROSOFT OFFICE: WORD, EXCEL, PUBLISHER, POWERPOINT, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, SPECLINK, and SKETCHUP.
