  • Schematic Designing

Introduction to project
This particular project involved a large amount of information gathering and building programming with the user groups necessary to develop a schematic design.

Method of approach
We utilized a specific programming methodology to create an effective and efficient line of communication between the client and the design team. This greatly improved the quality and satisfaction of the client through effectively meeting all the goals they established in the initial programming. Once CWG started the schematic design portion of the project the speed and effectiveness of our design work was greatly improved due to a comprehensive building program effort.

Effect of programming
Building programming can be used with many different building types to describe the Goals, Facts, Concepts and needs of each individual client. These elements are then combined into a comprehensive Problem Statement which helps guide the schematic design. The programming information is then packaged as a reference for the client and design team during design.
